This week our Google Innovation seminar series was in Minneapolis, MN and Atlanta, GA demonstrating how Google Enterprise technology can help larger organizations innovate faster. When I demo Google Apps, I usually try to develop some plausable, but interesting scenario - creating an intranet site with Google Sites to coordinate an upcoming product launch, collaborating on sales projections with an external vendor using Google Docs, etc. However, real Google Apps customer stories are invariably more interesting and unexpected. Check out this video where David Shapiro of Congregational Security Inc. talks about his company's use of Apps, Google Earth and other Google technologies to protect VIPs, from Bollywood stars to religious dignataries.
